DESIGNENTIST
is an experimental project presented the content about creative craft and cultural lifestyle. A personal blog written about visited museums, interesting places, narrative jewellery and history of design.
The term DESIGNENTIST comes from the pronunciation of The Scientist, adapted with the word Design. The two different words, contrast by its meaning, describe ideally the direction of the blog.
It is the matter of combining contrary in an aesthetic and harmonic way.

Pilynn Siriphanich considers herself a jewellery and fashion accessories lover, according to her educational background, she loves to explore everything related to especially the story behind.
Made in Thailand. Educated in art and design specialised in jewellery. Once lived, studied and apprenticed in Italy where she received many experiences and opportunities in life, however, she decided to go back Thailand and started her career in a different field. Museum souvenirs has later been her expertise and it was then when she realised that craft and culture have become her motivated passion.
Currently teaching and trying to pursue higher education in near future.
Pilynn Siriphanich
I was born and raised in Bangkok, Thailand. Gained experience in jewellery design and making at Silpakorn University. In 2013, I won a scholarship for Master Course in Accessories Design at Domus Academy in Milan, Italy. After graduation, I was offered a 3-month internship with Vhernier, an Italian jewellery house based in Milan and Valenza that had collaborated with my thesis project.
I love to experiment both in term of design and possible material, including the new aspect of jewellery beyond paper sketches. Also, I enjoy discovering new form and texture to combine them through my pieces. Geometry has always been my favourite element. I would love to blend the difference between stable geometric shape and abstract ideas as I do believe that jewellery is much more than luxury adornment but rather a sculpture to wear.
